Douglas Katz, MD ’90
Douglas S. Katz, M.D., F.A.C.R., is the Director of Body Imaging and Vice Chair for Clinical Research and Education at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, New York, and Professor of Clinical Radiology at Stony Brook Medicine. He was Attending-Physician-Of-The-Year five times at Winthrop-University Hospital, and is past President of the Long Island Radiological Society.“Dr. Katz is an icon in the field of Radiology,” said Dr. Patricia Vorwerk ’86, a fellow radiologist at Winthrop. “He is a true role model to students, residents, and other physicians…his broad knowledge base, keen clinical skills, and stellar diagnostic and interpretative capabilities continue to outshine all others.” Please join us to celebrate Dr. Katz’s outstanding achievements and welcome the incoming freshmen as they receive their White Coats.
