Help Us Commemorate National Nurses Week

Dear Alumni and Friends,

This is National Nurses Week, and I’m writing to ask for your help to honor the incredible nurses and their colleagues with a gift to Stony Brook University Hospital.  Your online gift to the “Fund for Stony Brook University Hospital,” will help our dedicated caregivers provide:

  • world class compassionate care to our patients
  • healthcare leaders who have the opportunity to grow and learn
  • healing environments featuring state-of-the-art technology,
    services and medicine

Though we are fortunate to have a first-rate reputation in the region, you may not realize that we only receive 2.5 percent of our budget from the state of New York. So, Stony Brook University Hospital relies heavily on the generosity of individuals like you.

I hope that together, we can continue to provide excellent care to all our patients and the people who love them, and to celebrate the work of nurses and caregivers who give so much of themselves.

A gift of any amount is greatly appreciated. Please make your gift online or send a check to the “Stony Brook Foundation” (488 Administration, Stony Brook, NY 11794-1601).

Thank you in advance for your generosity and consideration as we commemorate our wonderful caregivers during National Nurses Week.
